Director of the Kraków Festival Office 
 
Izabela Helbin graduated from the Kraków University of Economics (Management and Marketing, specialising in Company Management). She also has degrees in Journalism and Media Communications from the Institute of Journalism and Communication at the Jagiellonian University and European Studies from the John Paul II Papal University in Kraków. She is an experienced cultural manager, producer, co-producer and coordinator of numerous international cultural and television projects. She sits on the jury of the prestigious EFFE Awards and is a member of the THINKTANK Expert Board. She also lectures at the John Paul II Papal University and the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Kraków Academy.
 
She has served as Director of the Kraków Festival Office since 1 January 2011. Previously she was Deputy Director for Marketing at the Kraków Festival Office, Director of the Promotions Department at the Kraków Municipal Office and Chief Press Officer for the Mayor of Kraków. She has managed projects awarded the Silver KTR and the Golden Eagles. 
 
As Director of the Kraków Festival Office, she is responsible for the structure, organisation, production and branding of many of Kraków’s major cultural events, such as Misteria Paschalia, Sacrum Profanum, Opera Rara, Film Music Festival, Miłosz Festival, Conrad Festival, Wianki Music Festival, New Year’s Eve in Kraków, ICE Classic and EthnoKraków/Rozstaje.
 
Her festivals, one-off events and innovative campaigns and publications have earned her numerous awards at industry competitions including IFEA, Pinnacle Awards, European Design Awards, Golden Formats, Golden Eagles and Mobile Trends Awards. The Kraków Festival Office team has also been awarded the Grand Prix at the 5th Marketing Director of the Year competition, while its festivals have been given the EFFE Label by the European Festivals Association.
 
Izabela Helbin works hard on expanding the Kraków Festival Office’s programme with events aimed at children, seniors and disadvantaged groups, and she stresses the importance of partnership with municipal authorities, private companies and NGOs. Some of her most important achievements include major municipal activities coordinated by the Kraków Festival Office, such as the Kraków Film Commission, the implementation of the strategic programme Kraków UNESCO City of Literature, managing the activities of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre (listed as one of the best multivenue sites in the New Europe region, Meetings Star Award 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) and overseeing the InfoKraków tourist information network. Between 2014 and 2016, she was responsible for the cultural event programme at Tauron Arena Kraków. She manages the international two-stage architectural and urban competition aiming to create the Centre for Literature and Language – Planet Lem, managed by the Kraków Festival Office.
 
The Kraków Festival Office has developed a custom-made project management suite in order to manage the project.

 Ekspert w zakresie komunikacji oraz zarządzania informacją. Ukończył studia z public relations, brał udział w licznych szkoleniach z obszaru zarządzania i marketingu. Z Krakowskim Biurem Festiwalowym związany od 2013 roku. Początkowo odpowiadał za działania związane z kreacją i brandingiem. Współtworzył strategię marketingową oraz identyfikację wizualną Centrum Kongresowego ICE Kraków. Pełnił obowiązki Kierownika Działu Nowych Mediów i PR. Członek zespołu Departamentu Marketingu KBF nagrodzonego Grand Prix V edycji konkursu Marketing Roku. Laureat 2. miejsca konkursie PRotony 2015 w kat. Debiut w PR oraz Złote Spinacze w kat. PR miejsca, miasta, regionu, nominowany do tytułu Młody Wilk - Odkrycie roku w konkursie Dyrektor Marketingu. Obecnie opiekuje się ponad pięćdziesięcioma markami, którymi zarządza KBF.

Doświadczenie zdobywał prowadząc Biuro Promocji kina KIJÓW.CENTRUM w Krakowie, a także wspierając komunikacyjnie podmioty z branży life science. W Małopolskiej Sieci Kin Cyfrowych odpowiadał za promowanie wydarzeń zaliczanych do grupy alternative content. Promotor cyklicznych spotkań ze studentami krakowskich uczelni wyższych, podczas których przekazuje wiedzę o przemyśle spotkań oraz jego znaczeniu dla marketingu miejsc i promocji marek miejskich. Konferansjer prowadzący koncerty, premiery filmowe oraz konferencje organizowane przez KBF.

Gained experience by producing the largest cultural and entertainment events in Krakow. For years, he has been associated with the event industry. Graduated from the Jagiellonian University. Responsible for coordination and logistics of projects carried out by the Krakow Festival Office. Supervises the realisation of events. He is also responsible for project management within the long-term strategy of the Krakow Festival Office, as well as optimisation of processes connected with the development of stage techniques and mechanics, safety of the events and venues, operated by the Krakow Festival Office (ICE Kraków, Powiśle 11, Wyspiański Pavilion). He coordinates cooperation with municipal services, local governments and government departments, as well as work of the technical and administrative team, responsible for the realisation of events in the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.

Graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology. He has been working with the Krakow Festival Office since 2002. In that time, he has worked on creating many new KBF projects from scratch. He is responsible for coordinating the planning and accounting of the KBF budget. He deals with studies and analyses concerning all aspects of the institution’s functioning. He supervises internal financial and legal processes of the KBF, as well as obtaining external funding. He controls the internal office service and issues related to human resources management.

Graduate of international relations and culture management at the Jagiellonian University, associated with the Krakow Festival Office since 2006. She is responsible for co-creating the image of the City of Krakow in the area of culture, tourism, literature and film, as well as for managing the work of the Marketing Department, which won the Grand Prix of the 5th edition of the Marketing Director of the Year competition in 2014. Moreover, she also oversees the marketing communication strategy, the promotion of the Krakow Festival Office, as well as more than 25 brands managed by the Office.

Among her tasks is coordination of outdoor promotional campaigns, as well as press, radio, TV and Internet. She also works with new media and PR activities in social media. She is also responsible for the sales policy of the Office, cooperation with sponsors and commercial partners, coordination of the publishing activities of the Krakow Festival Office, as well as overseeing InfoKrakow - the official city information network. She is a part of the Krakow Network - a cooperation platform for business and culture, established at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, operated by the Office. Moreover, she also oversees the CSR activities of the Krakow Festival Office.

Graduate of Polish studies and sociology at the Jagiellonian University and the Universitè d’Aix Marseille in Aix en Provence, cultural diplomacy at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, holder of the “Promoting Social Change through Arts” scholarship, granted by the US Department of State. One of the founders and first presidents of the Pro Musica Mundi Association, Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, and winner of the Cracovian of the Year 2013 title, awarded in the plebiscite organised by Dziennik Polski.

He is responsible for the programming department of the Festival Office, carrying out the policies of the city in the area of culture, coordinating the flagship festivals, such as Misteria Paschalia, Opera Rara, Sacrum Profanum, Off Camera, Divine Comedy, as well as Miłosz and Conrad literary festivals. Robert Piaskowski serves as artistic director and coordinator of the Film Music Festival - currently the largest and the most valued festival of this genre of music worldwide. He is also responsible for integration and communication of operations of national and international local government and non-governmental organisations. Co-author of Krakow's application for the Creative Cities Network, as well as coordinator of the UNESCO Krakow - City of Literature programme, originator of the idea of connecting the libraries in the city, as well as one of the originators of the idea of joining the ICORN Cities of Refuge Network. Head of the Workgroup for creation of the Centre of Literature and Language in Skład Solny - a multifunctional literary centre in the Zabłocie district.

Spanish studies philologist, graduate of the Jagiellonian University and recipient of scholarships to Spanish universities. Graduated from the Jagiellonian University Teachers College, the Administration and Marketing Programme at the School of Banking and Management in Krakow and the International Relations and Diplomacy programme at the Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. For years, she worked with the International Cooperation Office at the Krakow City Hall, where she was responsible for contacts with Spanish-speaking regions. In 2014–2014, she was a Consul of the Republic of Poland in Caracas, Venezuela. After returning from her diplomatic assignment, she began working with the Krakow Festival Office at the beginning of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre’s operations. As a deputy director for the Congress Centre, she is responsible for supervision and coordination of its operations. As the deputy director for the Congress Centre, she is responsible for the supervision and coordination of operations pertaining to the sales of the space in ICE Kraków. She manages the venue’s event calendar.
